Ultimate Caving followed presenters Kate Humble and Steve Backshall as they tackled a series of challenges to explore some of the UK’s most spectacular cave systems. Produced by Martin Hughes Games for the BBC the idea was to give the viewer a really hands on experience of what its like to explore a cave. So we filmed it in a very dynamic high action style concentrating on the action and adventure of caving as a sport.
