‘To Save The Whale’ is a film that I wanted to make for a long time. A film about a Greenpeace campaign told by those who were there. Its been done before but my experience as a photographer and cameraman working with Greenpeace for nearly 20 years gave me a unique level of access and in particular trust from the crew members which clearly shows in the final result.
Its not a pretty film but I think its an important story that should be told. It won the Edinburgh Documentary film festival in 2010.
